The following prices are valid from 3rd November 2025
Membership
Annual Membership fee (Full) £150 per annum
Temporary Membership fee £20/month (max 3 months)
Aircraft Hire Rates
PA28-180 £180 per hour Solo Rate (Qualified Pilots)
PA28-180 £215 per hour Training Rate (including Student Solo)
Aircraft hire is based upon an hourly rate, but charged to the nearest 5 minutes.
Trial flights are charged at the Training Rate. (No Temp Membership required)
Examination Fees
All CAA Theory Exams are charged at £40 per exam
Radiotelephony Practical Test £200
CAA Flight Tests:
PPL Skill Test £160
Partial Skill Test £100
Class Rating Profficiency Check £100
IMC Initial Test £150 + Approaches
IMC (IRR(R)) Revalidation Test £100 +Approaches
Note: Flight test fees are payable to the Examiner and may vary between Examiners. Aircraft hire for tests is charged at the Solo Hire rate.
Instructor
Fees
As you know we share instructors with the Lyneham Flying Club. This has led to varying instructor fees. Therefore in order to simplify and standardise the fees, with effect from 3rd November 2025 both clubs will charge instructor fees at the rate of £42per flying hour.
